Panic—All Notes off

If you’re experiencing a lot of hanging notes while working, this multiscript will allow you to send a global All Notes Off event inside each Kontakt instance that it’s loaded in. This will allow you to stop any hanging notes coming from those specific Kontakt instances with a single key or controller (triggering a slider, pedal or button), without having to play/stop, or manually open each Kontakt instance to hit the re-initialize button.

Installation

Save it to "User\Documents\Native Instruments\Kontakt\presets\Multiscripts", and load it inside each Kontakt instance you wish to be able to trigger it for. Load it by opening the Multiscript tab (upper right corner, KSP icon, Presets > User).

Usage

The script will allow you to send a panic message either via MIDI note/key, or via CC (pedal, button, etc.). Enable the desired method by clicking on its switch, and send the designated key/CC whenever you encounter a hanging note.

For example, load this multiscript to multiple Kontakt instances where you’re hosting patches that you’ve encountered hanging notes with. You can then create a single track in your project which sends MIDI to these instances, and use that track whenever you need to send the All Notes Off event to multiple instances to instantly stop the hanging notes.
